2nd and 3rd Rounds of the SACU Enduro Championship at
Lossiemouth Forest.
Frazer Norrie takes
the win on both days with Andrew Bisset just behind in
second and Fergus Lamb in 3rd. Always a testing course and 5
hours in the saddle each day.
Best wishes to
Andrew Maben who was taken ill the night before the event -
best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Saturday Results here
Ver 2. Thanks to the riders
for pointing out the missing time penalties.
Sunday Results here
Ver 2.
Saturday started
sunny but became grey with a few spots of rain by the end .
A tough day forall the riders with the Experts on 5 laps -
clubman on 4 and Sportsman on 3. Over 5 hours in the saddle
with no rest and a tight time schedule. Scotlands Tough
Enduro - and all without mud.
Sunday was sunny
all day but a bit cooler. The schedules were a bit easier
and 1/2 a lap less for all the riders.
The Experts
continue to amaze with test times within a second over
several laps . In Clubman only Ben McLuskey was able to put
in clockwork times for the win.
George Mcbeth took
the win on Saturday in the Clubman B but went in to the
check a minute early on Sunday to lose 60 points and drop to
2nd place - with Gordon McGregor close enough to take the
win.
In Sportsman Kai
Carroll took the win on both days. Taylor Mair showed great
form with two 3rd places ( Good enough for a
new bike Jim ?)
Thanks to Elgin
Club for another great event with a good turnout of riders.
And thanks to the Forestry for the use of the land.
