1st Feb WTRA Snowrun Enduro. In Mid Wales. A team of 5 riders braved the extreme rain - leaving Scotland in snow as they headed south for the season opener. Team Tango Dougal Walker finished 2nd in over 40 , Jim Wightman finished 3rd . Murray Thomson was 4th in the Expert Class once he had sorted out his Over 40 entry. This meant he had to start on his minute in the clubmen and lost sight of the experts ahead.

The Yamahas of Charlie Mackenzie and Dave Ramsay failed to make it on time - although being true Scots we got our Moneys worth and had an extra hours riding.

Always an event that is testing the Welsh hills always have grip and it does not seem as cold as Scotland. We'll be back . Full report and pics .
