Another fine day of racing at the popular Tain MX Racing tack with good weather and just enough rain to keep the dust down.

The Highland Enduro Club put on a great race with the usual start round the MX track and then a blast across the heath and then round the golden fields with numerous obstacles to overcome.
The usual logs were there with some tight chicanes between massive straw bales and the big stile to cross. A lot of work by the club but well worth it for the riders.

Lots of photographers this year to catch all the action and some great aerial shots over the MX jumps.

After three hours of close racing Expert Andrew Bisset finished on 13 laps with Kevin Murray the only other rider on 13 laps in 2nd place less than a minute behind. Cai Hewitt was 3rd with 11 laps

In the over 40's Alex Pringle had a great race to finish on 11 laps ahead of Mitchell Brown in 2nd and James Harvey in 3rd also on 11 laps.

James Lindsay lead the Clubman home to finish on 11 laps with only Felix Beavitt able to stay with him on 11 laps for 2nd . Jake Reid pushed for 10 laps to take 3rd

Billy Campbell had a close race with Thomas Malcolm in the Clubman B class with both riders on 10 laps . Richard McLeod finishing in third

Neil Dawson continues to get faster in the over 50 Clubman Class with a tight battle all day with Ian Bisset 2nd and Ritchie Finnie 3rd. Duane Whittaker less than a minute behind in 4th

The Sportsman class was won by Mikey Durdle leading home Jim Lorimer and Angus Hamilton. All on a great 10 laps .

Alan Strachan took the Sportsman Vets class win with 9 laps ahead of Mike Glass and Jon Denison also on 9 laps.

Thanks to the Bisset family and David McGilvray and the Highland crew for setting out a great track and top days racing.

The next Highland event is their Altyre 2 day Enduro . One not to be missed.
