A great start to the new Enduro Championship with the season opener at Lossiemouth.
Rounds 1 and 2 were staged by the Highland Enduro Club at the popular Lossiemouth forest. In a change from previous years
there was no beach run with deep sand but this was made up for by a monster bog which claimed a few bikes.
The test was run in the trees and was a tight and testing challenge with some close racing .
Andrew Bisset claimed victory on both days followed home by Frazer Norrie in a rare appearance but showing all his normal
speed. Sam Boyd continues to impress with a fine pair of thirds.
Youngsters Robbie Davidson and Cai Hewitt moved up to the Expert class and put in some fast times over the extra lap .
Cai Hewitt suffering from the dreaded Lossie Foot ( a recognised medical term) and only completed the Saturday.
Thanks to Jim Mair and the hard working team for another memorable event under trying circumstances - including
lightning and hailstones on the Saturday.
The next round is at Craiglash with Bon Accord in 3 weeks on 21st April.
