The numbers are reserved for Enduros - but can also be used for Hare and Hound - however Hare and Hound also has riders from Motocross who also have preferred numbers on their bikes and shirts. So first come gets the number if there is a problem. Due to the high number of riders in certain classes the number range was extended this year and lead to split numbering for classes

Please note the minimum age entering Enduro is 16. For entering Hare and Hounds it is 15 for entry in the adult class if you have previous competition experience (eg MX) . The minimum age for entry in Youth events is 8.

The SACU Awards presentation for Off Road will be held at the ARMY Reserve centre at Livingston,  Beveridge Square on 19th January at 2:00 pm. This will be for Trials , Enduro, Hare and Hounds and Quads. Full list of Champions to follow.

 

  Well Halloween has passed and it's that time of year - NEW NUMBER TIME - rider numbers from 2018  can now be reserved for 2019 by existing riders - saves you getting new backgrounds made up. After 1st Dec all numbers are open to reserve - so make sure you book your existing number now if you wish to keep it. ISDE 2019 - Portugal.

Clubs are invited to nominate teams to go to the ISDE in Portugal in 2019. A deposit will be required and also a completed Team Manager nomination form. For full details please see the Press Release - click here

 

SACU OFFROAD SPEED Licences for 2019. 2018 Licences are valid until January 31st 2019.  Day licences will be available at all events during the season

1) Join a club. You need to be a club member to get a licence.
2) Get a licence application form from your club secretary and send in with a photo and fee to get a full licence valid from 1st Jan.

English Riders - all very welcome. All you need is your ACU race licence. Join an English club and get an ACU race licence. Accepted at all Scottish races . You do not need to get a Scottish licence to race in Scotland.

  The final  SACU Championship Hare and Hound of the season was on 21st October at Birkenhill near Elgin - organised by Elgin Endurance Club .

Won by Andrew Bisset - the new 2018 SACU Expert Hare and Hound Champion.

A great event with a new feature - a spiral in the field course - apparently easy to ride but very confusing for  spectators trying to see who is going where. Apparently an idea picked up from the French at the ISDE - all set out by Mitchell Brown. As always EEC are an innovating  club.
